VINCENT KOMPANY is refusing to get carried away by Manchester City's thrashing of Chelsea.
Manuel Pellegrini's men are cock-a-hoop following Sunday's 3-0 demolition of Jose Mourinho's champions at the Etihad.
Goals from Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho and Kompany himself helped City make it two wins from two and open-up a five point gap over the Blues.
Pellegrini's men have now been installed as firm favourites to go on and win back the title fromChelsea and Manchester United.
But Belgium ace Kompany is refusing to look too far ahead and reckons there is no point getting too excited at this stage.
The defender said: "Let's not get carried away. It's only two games and there are many to play.
